This is a very interesting fund with a simple concept, and in many ways it may complement a traditional open-ended global equity strategy in the IA or Morningstar global categories. There is a good level of liquidity in the fund due to the liquidity in the underlying companies. However, investors should be aware this is what’s known as a ‘Ucit’ fund and is registered in Ireland, meaning you may have to deal through a large wealth manager or specialist platform if you wish to make an investment – though it may be worth the additional research and time.
